Cannabis specialist firm Medical Marijuana acquires a majority stake in PhytoSPHERE
CannaBANK purchased from PharmaSphere LLC the rights to buy the exclusive worldwide licence for the use of TerraSphere Systems technology for any cannabis, hemp or cannabinoid based plant or product. CannaBANK has established PhytoSPHERE Systems as the licence holder. PharmaSphere is a biotechnology firm that uses the TerraSphere technology to produce high-value, plant-based biocompounds for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical markets. Medical Marijuanas president Michael Llamas said that the deal bolsters the companys position in the cannabis based compound industry. Llamas further said that the target is the only organic provider of pharmaceutical grade raw ingredients for the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and over the counter (OTC) medical cannabinoids markets. The companys president added that Medical Marijuana will during the next few weeks give an update on several transactions related to PhytoSPHERE. Established in 2009, Medical Marijuana is focused on developing and acquiring a portfolio of companies and subsequently products in the cannabis and hemp sector.
